Another Flyabout
updated: Aug 28, 2011, 1:02 PM

By John Wiley

Our continent offers such a bounty of magnificent scenery from the air, but the West coast is my fav region for a Flyabout. The air is more often clear of the haze found elsewhere, and we have such a variety of terrain and climate. As usual I have lots of pix to sort, but as I go through them to post more on my Photo Page here's a pair.

First was taken yesterday in the hills above San Jose, looking up the iridescent winding inlet of a reservoir. The the sea cave with dappled sunlight was snapped before that on the Oregon coast, catching a car zipping along the highway oblivious to the glorious scene so near by.

The west coast truly is beautiful. I agree that it certainly is one of the most diverse reigons on the continent.
