Does anyone know of an iPhone app that will posterize a picture? I'm looking for an app that makes a photo look like a painting. Thanks!

Get a real camera. Phone cams are good for the Internet,not prints.

I'm not 659, but I understand the sentiment. People too often don't think about their options before just choosing the one they perceive to be easiest. OP chose edhat, but 659 is just pointing out that there are much easier AND better ways to go about finding answers to this question. Is that really wrong? Telling someone there was a better way to do something? I'd like to know the better way 100% of the time - if you wouldn't want to, I find that, uhhh, very interesting that you want to actively waste time just to be "right". And the comment wasn't even snarky! Although I can't say the same for 687. It's a shame people can't take GOOD advice for what it is and nothing more. Defense mechanisms much?

How is this local? There are many boards specializing in apps, photo manipulation and iStuff...this is not one of them.

659 here.....Well said 706P. Now had the OP listed 4 or 5 potential apps that she (yes, the OP is definitely a female) found with a Google search and asked Edhat iPhone users to give their impression of the apps, that would be fine. But seriously, this question is as misplaced as asking for driving directions on Edhat.

The camera on my wife's iphone5 was just despicable for the price paid for the phone. Also, the map app was a goner before it started. Yep, another Android convert.

@ 359659 What assumption did 359659 make? I just googled iPhone app posterize and got immediate results ... 0.8 isn't far from the mark.
