In Memory of Peter Sklar

It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the death of Edhat founder,creator, and
publisher Peter Sklar on Sunday morning, December 9, 2012. Peter was 50, and succumbed to
complications from pneumonia following a fifteen month struggle with inoperable brain cancer. Peter died
at home, surrounded by his wife, Sue Foley, and his two sons, Nick and Zack. As always, the faithful Edhat
dog Molly was by his side. A memorial is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
Remembrances may be posted on Edhat, and the family asks that in lieu of flowers a contribution in Peter's
honor be made to the Cancer Center of Santa Barbara.
Peter started Edhat in 2003 and, in concurrence with his planning, it will continue as an on-line publication
daily.
