Happy day after Turkey Day, Brian. I figure most of us are still digesting. :-) GREAT pic; a real discovery. I wonder how long ago the "heart" was cut into the cactus? Not that I'm condoning a new form of graffitti. I was happy to see spines growing out of the cut portions. (Is there any other way a hole in that shape could have been made?)

Very creative point of view--I am sure the cactus will survive the heart transplant.

104P - Thank you! Happy Day After Turkey Day to you :) I walk by that cactus all the time, that heart has been there for a while now. Hmm, my guess is human intervention... a creative bird... the scarecrow from Wizard of OZ... hopefully it's not some new GMO cactus designed to gown heart holes. RDH - Thank you, caught it at just the right time :) Haha, yep thankfully it has.
