I'm looking for a clever Halloween costume this year. Does anyone have any ideas?

@625...LMAO! That's a good one!

I was a loofah one year. Easy and pretty epic.

T-Shirt, Safety Pins, Tulle, and a rope!

Wear all black with some cotton 'clouds' attached to your body. Carry a squirt bottle and you are "Partly cloudy with a chance of showers" and mist the crowd!!!

Really fun!

632,,, cute idea!!! However; in this day in age, the simple spray from a harmless spray bottle could be considered an assault. If someone came up to me and did that, I would automatically assume the worst: is bleach in there? Why did that person do that to me? Do I have to go home and take a shower now? Will my hair fall out? We, unfortunately, no longer live in a safe society. I anticipate the 'paranoia' comments; however, "better safe than sorry!"

I knew a girl who wore a slip with id, ego and super ego on it. She was a freudian slip...

google "I Am Blind and My Dog Is Dead" - just get a leash, a stuffed dog from the thrift store, cup, pencils and dark glasses.

One year the party theme was "your worst nightmare".

So, I took a white sweatshirt and a pair of white sweat pants and dyed them flesh tone. Then I drew on boobs and, uhm, hair "down there". Then I took one of my thickest college books, wrapped it in brown paper, and wrote some incredibly long complex name for an insane subject.

I ran around the party looking frantic, asking other party-goers if they knew where the final exam for my class was being held. :)

My worst reoccuring nightmare at the time was being late for a final exam in a class I had forgotten to attend. And I didn't know where the exam room was. Oh, and I was naked. ;) I used to have that nightmare ALL the time after graduating from college. :)

Wrap yourself up in black plastic and go as an oil slick.

Put on a cowboy hat, cowboy boots and a speedo and go as Magic Mike.

If you're a guy, wear a big box around your body, covered in wrapping paper and a bow on top. Attach a tag that says "To: Women. From: God".

(God's gift to women.)

All apologies, if anyone gets offended by this, but:

Wear a dress and cover yourself in flour and bread crumbs:

Go as a battered woman.

711: I'm not easily offended and don't need a hobby. Maybe we could meet, I'll bring my blind family member, 658P can come in "costume" and you two can explain the humor and take us to task for being too dour or "PC" and not "getting it." I'm sure much hilarity will ensue. Deal?

Seriously, would someone suggest going out in a wheelchair or perhaps pretending to be a wounded Vet? Maybe I shouldn't even mention such things at risk of giving some senseless moron ideas. There are limits to everything; not everything is in "good taste," not every crass idea is "funny" or cool. Sensitivity and awareness are good things and examples of each can also be Googled.

one year my friend and I made cardboard candy bar costumes and went as Big Hunk and Bit 'O Honey. Couldn't sit down, but fun anyway.

Making light of others' disabilities or misfortunes is almost always *only* funny to the 'jokester'. Very poor taste.

I remember in the early 80's two girls went to a costume party at 1129. They each had a life-sized foam rubber piece of bread on her outside arm. They were wearing bikinis and one had smeared peanut butter all over herself, and the other jelly. They went as a PB & J! The guys loved it, and they won the contest! Too bad they weren't 21 yet!!

Gray sweatshirt, double yellow stripes down front and back. Safety pin on some toy cars and trucks-- you're a freeway.

In high school, our tiny, somewhat reserved valedictorian startled everyone by coming to Hallowe'en Day wrapped only (I'm sure..... there was a bathing suit under there?) in a big bath towel covered with bunches of little white-balloon soap bubbles.
