Don't know why, but so many ginger boys have wonderful dispositions. Aslan sounds like he's the best! Hope you have many more years together....

Our cat is Pistol, a Siamese, he loves playing ball. Yes, he brings it back, drops it at my feet and waits to see where it's going to go next. He's a good guy and knows how to read us, our moods, etc... He really gets a kick out of watching the Animal Planet and Cesar Millan too, he thinks he's funny!

We have 2 cats that are also greeters when we come home. No matter how tired I am, I treasure the greeting immensely. I am glad you also have that experience.

Ah Aslan, you good looking guy! I used to drive a VW bus, and my kitty heard me coming from at least a block away--she'd come from her sleeping spot and meet me at the bottom of my stairs every day. So sweet to be greeted, even if I was just the 'mess hall' cook!

Every cat we have ever had could detect when whatever vehicle we owned was coming down the street. I swear one cat could hear my husband come down the freeway exit.

My cats know the sound of the garage door opening and always greet us at the door.
